Tomrook Steel is known for two main aspects:

MANUFACTURING
Utilizing the capabilities of Tomrook Steel’s full-service fabrication shop, we are able to handle a wide array of projects, from customized fabrication to full production steel components.
WELDING
Not many fabrication shops have their own in-house AWS Certified Welding Inspector. Whether its welding on staircases, handrails or structural beams, we can’t promise quality without setting high standards before the steel even leaves the shop.
Humble Construction Co. recently requested Hayden Steel and Tomrook Steel Fabrication to join forces with our team to complete a Design-Build project. Being a General Contractor from out of state, not knowing Hayden or Tomrook except from word of mouth we must confess HCC could not be happier with their results. After our initial meeting with Hayden and Tomrook, HCC was certain we had made the right choice, and in the end we did. The project was a success and both Hayden and Tomrook were a large part of that success.
Whether it be our first on site meeting through the final punch list, Hayden and Tomrook were easy to get along with and eager to do what was needed to make sure the project was a complete success. We would team up with them in the future without hesitation.
I have worked with Hayden Steel and Tomrook Steel on multiple projects over the last 5 years. This work has included structural and miscellaneous steel framing, decorative stainless steel railings at the Old Forester Distillery, and both cable guardrails and decorative canopy framing for pedestrian walkways at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. Brooke and James’ teams have always been attentive to and supportive of my projects both in the shop and in the field and they have been able to successfully navigate through scope additions, detail revisions, and deadlines when they arose.
